TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Minimum charge for rubbish removal is *$100.
All workmanship is supplied with a 3 (three) year warranty on labour and materials supplied by Lifestyle Flooring Pty Ltd (all workmanship is done in accordance with Australian Flooring Standards).

Customer or representative of customer must be present to sign off on completion of job.

If customer or representative is not there on completion, no warranty will be given on scratched or damaged floors.

The cut down and refitting of doors:
Single hinge doors *$25 each
Sliding doors *$50 each
Pantry doors *$50 each
We do not cover any damage done to the removal and cutting down of doors.

Work hours:
Work hours are between 7.30 am and 4 pm Monday to Friday and 8 am till 4 pm on Saturday. Please note penalty rates for Saturday work of *$100 per worker will apply.

Penalty rates
If on the day of commencement Lifestyle Flooring Pty Ltd is called out to proceed with works and residence is not ready and no work can commence a penalty rate of minimum *$300 and maximum *$500 will apply. This includes Body Corporate not been made aware of start times, lifts to be used, no access to power, jobs are not accessible, no parking available, other trades interfering with ours works of progress. This will apply with accordance with health and safety building codes of Victoria.

Any residence above 1st (first) floor with no access to a lift will include a penalty rate of *$100 for the cartage of materials and tools.

Payment Terms
Fifty percent is to be paid to Lifestyle Flooring Pty Ltd on or commencement of job and remaining fifty percent to be paid at completion or final day of job.

All timber flooring supplied by Lifestyle Flooring Pty Ltd is to be paid in full 3 (three) days prior to date of delivery.

All sub floor preparation floor to be paid for on completion.

Final payment for sanding and coatings is to be paid prior to the application of last coating.

We give no guarantee on the following:
Any surface damage done to painted walls.
Any furniture damage to furniture left in the area or has to be moved from the area where flooring prep is needed to be done.
This includes knick knacks, any items left in WIR or built in robes, any hanging or light fittings, picture/wall hangings.

Damage done in removing or refitting skirtings (please note skirtings are refixed by nail only, filling and corking is an extra).
Dishwashers and fridges to be removed and replaced at *$20 each (please note this does not include connections of dishwashers and fridges-this must be done by a licensed plumber).

Sanding and Coatings
Sanding and coatings are applied to Australian Standards in a two pack polyurethane finish in either a matt, semi gloss or gloss unless otherwise stipulated.
You will expect to get slight imperfections in the coatings such as slight pimpling (dust).
Final payment for sanding and coatings is to be paid prior to the application of last coating.

What to expect of your floor
Please note in any pre-finished timber flooring you can expect to have slight gapping occurring of up to 0.5mm wide. This is standard and is within accordance to Australian Flooring Standards and this does not specify as a warranty or defect in the workmanship.

Please note we will leave your floors cleaned and mopped but you may expect to have to mop your floor several more times to completely remove all residue of your flooring.

Warranties
You will only receive your 3 (three) year warranty after the completion of all outstanding monies have been finalised.

Warranties do not cover any dust residues left behind from the installation of flooring.
