Parquetry floors come in many different varieties. Basically there are two forms of parquetry, one being mosaic parquetry which are made of solid fingers of selected timbers and prefabricated into tiles of roughly 500 mm x 500 mm square and block parquetry which again generally are made up of individual blocks (260mm x 65mm) ranging in thicknesses of between 14 - 19mm.

The beauty and quality of parquetry means that it can be made up off all timber species and in a range of incredible patterns such as herring bone and basket weave to name just a couple.
