This is a relatively new product in the bamboo flooring market. And is a product that our Melbourne company specialises in. We have being installing bamboo flooring constantly over the last 5 year s having now installed in excess of 30,000 square metres. Bamboo flooring is an environmentally friendly product. There are no forests to cut down, only plantations that regenerates every 5-6 years and no we don't interfere with the feeding habitats of pandas.

Bamboo flooring is an engineered product of compressed stalks of bamboo that is extremely hard, harder in fact than most natural timbers. It can be installed directly to concrete as a solid floor and is delivered to site as a pre finished product (does not need sanding and coating). We sell and recommend only the strand woven because of its hardness, durability and performance over the long term.

Bamboo comes in two basic colours, your natural (straw colouring) and dark (brown, coffee colouring). It has beautiful grains as such with consistent colouring throughout your floor.
